After less than a year on the market, 1000 Main in downtown's central business district has reached an agreement with a buyer for $435 million, according to Real Estate Alert.
The buyer, Seattle-based Metzler Real Estate, was originally the runner-up bidder for the tower.
Chicago-based LaSalle Investment Management was the original winning bidder. In December, it was reported that LaSalle bid $537 per square foot, or about $450 million total, for 1000 Main, an 837,000-square-foot, 36-story tower.
