Another Nashville real estate shakeup on the way?

Just since mid-2014, three of Nashville's largest real estate brokerages have undergone major change: Two have hired new chief executives, and a third was acquired and changed its name.

It looks like that churn will keep rolling along, now that the Italian owner of Cushman & Wakefield has put that firm up for sale.

In this market, the firm Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone ranks as the third-largest real estate firm — both in annual sales volume and annual leasing activity, according to our latest research.

The firm, which is independently owned, has 30 affiliated brokers. Only Colliers International has more.

"I have full faith in upper management, and I view it positively," said Warren Smith, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone. Smith declined further comment.
